Police Dog Obedience

On Friday the 12th of August, the police dogs were coming to school.
First, we were waiting until one of the police dogs came. The name of the man was Sergeant Scott. The name of the dog was Cody. They went onto the stage. They were talking about dog safety.

Next we had to go outside on the field. They were going to do a demonstration. Then one of the officers put on these things so that the dog can’t bite his skin. Then they were doing a demonstration on how to catch robbers and thieves. Constable Chris made a trail to the children. Then, the dog was following Constable Chris on the trails that lead to the children. Then one of the officers came to talk to the children.

The other dog that we saw was Quantum. The place where one of the officers came was muddy. We asked him about his age. We also asked him what breed he was. The dog barked at some of the children. After all the talks with some of the police officers with some of the dogs we went back to class.

Remember not to steal stuff. Otherwise you will get caught by the police dogs.

In the holidays on Wednesday me and mum and Luke went to the Auckland Zoo with Sarna, Finley and Oliver.

We went to see animals like monkeys, spider monkeys, lions, tigers and elephants. We even saw sea lions and penguins. My favourite animal was the monkeys.

Last we saw a tarantula in the cage.

It was fun at the Auckland Zoo.
